Senior System Engineer responsible for developing system concept for a new engine control system being developed as a joint venture with an engine company.

Senior Project Engineer in New Products group controlling team of engineers responsible for all research within the group. Specifically responsible for developing the concept of a versatile FADEC (Full Authority Digital Engine Controller) and implementing the necessary research to achieve this.

1985 - 1988

Project Leader controlling team of Indian and British hardware and software engineers jointly developing a military digital engine control system. Specific responsibilities included initial brochure preparation,agreement with customer,regular progress meetings with customer,programme planning,work allocation and making technical decisions.

1970 -1973

Section Leader (Test Techniques Section) controlling team of engineers. The section was responsible for specifying the techniques to be used to ensure product testability and for specifying,designing and building computer controlled test equipment for production testing of the company's range of products.

1968 - 1970

Project Leader of 902 Computer controlling several other engineers. Responsible for implementation of 902 CPU, store, data routing units and teleprinter controller.

1961 - 1968

Junior then Senior Engineer working on the design and development of a variety of products. These included ground position indicators, digital computers, test equipment and core stores. Experience was also gained on type approval testing and in field investigations of design problems.
